I knew Darryl through various organisations such as NPC, Co-op Party, Filton Twinning Association etc. He was always cheerful, amusing and sociable. The last time I saw him was at a quiz at St. Gregory’s Church Hall. We were in the same team and it was a fun evening…he was a generous, thoughtful person and although our paths didn’t cross very often I will miss him. It’s sad to think I won’t be seeing him around… Sending sincere condolences to Darryl’s family…such a loss for you

Darryl was a mentor and a friend when i worked alongside him and beyond. He taught me as much about inspection as he did about how to treat people oat all levels with respect and compassion. I wonderful human being x

I worked with Darryl for many years when he co-chaired Concorde CEF. He was always such a kind, thoughtful gentleman, giving his all to the community he loved. Darryl often talked to me about his lovely family - I send them my deepest condolences- and was clearly so proud of them! The world will be a duller place without you friend.
